- Sinopse
Doris Day interpreta a boa moça na vida de um trompetista (Kirk Douglas) que se apaixona compulsivamente pela música. Entre eles, no entanto, Lauren Bacall é a vilã invejosa. Os solos de trompete de Kirk Douglas foram feitos, na verdade, pelo band leader Harry James. O compositor e pianista Hoagy Carmichael faz uma participação especial no papel de Willie "Smoke" Willoughby.
